Raised in Indiana and called by the Lord to serve in Pennsylvania, Carissa followed God’s leading into biblical counseling. With a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Counseling, she helps individuals seek healing and hope under the light of God’s Word.
Her service has included active involvement at Springfield Baptist Church and significant contributions at the Endless Mountain Pregnancy Care Center. Today, she continues to pour into students and families through her role at the Troy School District.

A Heritage of Faith
Carissa is the daughter of Pastor Timothy Wheeler and his wife Mary. Timothy grew up in Japan where his parents, Merrell and Joyce Wheeler, served as missionaries beginning in 1967. Through generations, God has been preparing and shaping Carissa’s life for His glory.
Her story continues this legacy—walking in obedience to the Lord’s call and serving others with grace and steadfast faith.
Family Life
Together with her husband, Pastor Aamir Din, Carissa seeks to embody the love of Christ in their home, church, and community. They are blessed with three children—Sophia, Arabella, and Kundan—who share in their family’s journey of faith.
